Dr. Melissa Santiago received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University in Tampa, Florida. She went on to complete a two-year postdoctoral residency focusing on neuropsychology. Dr. Santiago has experience in providing neuropsychological and psychological assessments to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Her clinical interest includes but is not limited to, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative diseases, anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. Additionally, she has received certified training in administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2). Dr. Santiago also has clinical experience providing therapy to adults. Her clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, adjustment, coping skills, self-esteem, suicidal thoughts and self-harming behaviors, racial identity, interpersonal relationships, social skills, life transitions, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and age-related changes. Dr. Santiago understands that seeking therapy can be a frightening and stressful process.
