She has served asa Mental Health Director at male and female prison reception centers. She worked as aMental Health director,overseeing and supervising the provision of psychological services throughmultiple programs, includingresidential, outpatient, inpatient,Transgender Dysphoria, disability,andmedical hospital programs. Within the past year, she has provided clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns and assisted in developing an extensive three-year psychiatric residency training program. In addition to forensic practice, Dr. Goldman has many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in private practice clinics, school systems, psychiatry departments, and children’s hospitals. She has experience conducting individual,family,and group therapy andcoordinating school-linked mental health services. Dr. Goldman carries 25 years of experiencein the field of psychology andbrings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Her professional specialization includes the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness, specificallyschizophrenia and bipolar disorders, as well as the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and personality disorders. Sub-specializations in her work includediagnosingand treating prodromal and first-episode patients with schizophrenia and helping patients manage dual diagnosis concerns with substance abuse and mental illness. Dr. Goldman has many years of experience helping patients with crisis management and is extremely comfortable working with patients presenting with suicidality and self-injurious behaviors.Complex diagnosis and treatment concerns are her specialty.
