Ellen Altman graduated with a Master’s Degree from Barry University School of Social Work in Miami, Florida. She is licensed to practice social work in Florida and New Mexico. She has been in private practice, supervised interns, and has worked for several mental health agencies, including hospice, for the past 21 years. Ellen has extensive expertise working with a diverse population of patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, families, adult individuals, and Native Americans. She uses a variety of techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, and crisis intervention.
